James Bond 007 Goldfinger Cap Pistol with Silencer in Original Box. 1965
 
England: Lonestar, 1965. Cap Pistol based on Bond's weapon as seen in Goldfinger (1964) staring Sean Connery as Agent 007, and who is illustrated on the scarce Original box accompanying the toy.
 
Length (with Silencer) 9". Box with all end flaps, bright and crisp with a couple of old box tape marks. 6 1/4 X 4 1/4 X 1 1/4".
 
This is an incredibly rare and highly desirable collector item. Its in superb condition in its original box.
 
The last one we came across was four years ago and was without its box and heavily played. This one is really special and is complete with box in fantastic condition.
 
These vintage James Bond toy guns do not come to market very often. This specific Lonestar is over 60 yrs old, a fantastic timeless classic that is sure to be the envy of Bond memorabilia collectors accross the world.
 
So rare is this item now that you can buy vintage metal wall signs depicting the original 1965 Lonestar advert promoting the sale of this cap gun.
 
Following on from the success of the bond movie Goldfinger in 1964 Lonestar was licensed to sell these toy cap guns to the market. Not sure of exact numbers manufactured at the time but not many have survived the last 60 years and certainly not so many with the original box all intact.
